Meet Stephanie


Stephanie Thomson, MS,RDN is a registered dietitian nutritionist with a Master’s degree in nutritional science, and the founder of Summit Peak Nutrition Services.  She has completed the Commission on Dietetic Registration’s (CDR) Certificate of Training in Adult Weight Management.  She is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and part of the Sports, Cardiovascular, and Wellness Nutrition dietetic practice group.   She has over 20 years experience practicing with a variety of clients including young athletes, pregnant women, patients with various medical conditions, and those desiring weight loss.  Before starting her private practice she worked as a clinical dietitian in hospitals and as a consultant dietitian.  Stephanie’s philosophy is that the right nutrition makes a major difference in how we look, how we feel and how our bodies perform.  When we eat better, we feel better!  


Stephanie is a former ballet dancer, and former fad dieter who understands the confusion around nutrition. She enjoys an active and fulfilled life with her son — a busy young athlete.  She understands the demands of living a busy, full life and how challenging it can be to consistently create and eat healthful meals.  Stephanie will work with you to tailor an eating plan to your individual needs.
